I got same problem here while adding (or at least trying to add) a shared folder. I get "pure virtual call" fatal error and application is terminated.
Host OS: Windows XP Professional (fully patched), Core 2 Duo (E7200), 2GB RAM Guest OS: Windows XP Professional (fully patched)

ChieftainY2k, you have the same problem as in ticket #3694. The fix will be available in the next version of VBox.

I will close this bug as the new version was released some days ago. azshane, if you still encounter this problem with VirtualBox 2.2.2, reopen this ticket.

Which name do you use for the shared folder and which host directory do you map? And please attach VBox.log with the reproduced problem. Thanks.
