Description
try run VB without .VirtualBox folder - fail!
Assertion failed at '/home/vbox/vbox-2.1.4/src/VBox/Main/VirtualBoxImpl.cpp' (1540) in virtual nsresult VirtualBox::GetExtraData(const PRUnichar*, PRUnichar**).
Unexpected exception 'N3xml12EIPRTFailureE' (Runtime error: -102 (File not found.)).

axet, which Linux distribution is that and which package did you install? Any chance to check if this happens with the 2.2.0 Beta 1 as well (see http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewforum.php?f=15)?

i tried several times and now problem is gone... can you test it on your host?
