Description
Host machine is Intel Core2 Quad Host OS is Ubuntu jaunty 64 (current) Guest is any of windows, Linux 64, Linux 32 Under Intrepid 64 as the host, It would work with Linux 32, but had a similar result when trying to boot a Linux 64 guest. My Core i7 machine doesn't seem to have this problem.
As soon as I try to start the VM, the entire machine instantly freezes. The only option is to hit the reset button or turn off the power and reboot.

Any chance to check if VirtualBox 2.2.4 still freezes your host?
