I got a Sun Ultra 24 workstation running Solaris s10x_u7wos_08 X86 and VirtualBox 2.2.2 r46594. During high hdd activity on guest VBox goes into GURU_MEDITATION state.

The actual problem is that VBox is not able to allocate enough usable pages. How much RAM does your host have? And did you run any VM or other memory-intensive application in parallel to that VM?

There are enougth memory in free mem on top when VirtualBox hangs.

Increasing swap to 10Gb helps. There are no errors at any workload. Thanx for support!!!

Solaris 10 has a double memory accounting bug. Please check the link above. It could be due to this bug.
