I've just installed VirtualBox 1.4 on Windows 2000 plus fedora 7 as guest system. Fedora rebooted OK after install. I then installed Guest Additions and rebooted Fedora. Reboot 'stuck' at udev line.

Further to my previous message, i had to power-off the Fedora system to get passed the udev line. Now I got a lot of changing windows and eventually a text window with the message The display server has shut down about 6 times in the last 90 seconds. It is likely that something bad is going on. Waiting for 2 minutes before trying again on display :0 and an OK button. Had to power-off again but same thing happened on reboot. settings are for 512MB, 1 network adapter on Host Interface with device Virtual Host Interface 1, no USB, no Remote Display, floppy not mounted, CDROM host drive D.
Can't get this guest to run at all. Turned off mouse integration and re-booted. Back to the 'stuck at udev' problem. Also tried different Network settings but no positive outcome.
Will have to delete this guest and try installing a second time.

If only I'd read the User FAQ first! This is a known problem and the solution is in the FAQ.
