I've been using Virtualbox 2.2.2. I've upgraded several times before, and it work just fine.
Doday I tried to upgrade to version 2.2.4 and the installation doesn't finishes. It roolbacks to initial state. I attached the log files

Replying to sirbabyface and kovesp: could you also attach msi log file here ? See http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/MSI_Logging (Installer Log section)
could you also enable setupapi log verbosity as mentioned in "Driver Installation Log" section of above doc, remove(or move somewhere) the old setupapi.dev.log & setupapi.dev.log (or setupapi.log for XP) in order to produce fresh logs and post them here as well.

Thanks a bunch! I guess I should have checked that MSI page first. I followed the instructions to download and run the Installer Cleanup utility with the previous version of VBOX selected. After that the install of 2.2.4 worked OK. I assume you don't need the logs from that successful install (but let me know if you would like to have them). Thanks again.
