Description
I ran into the following 2 issues while running xVM on XP Home SP2 as a host, and Ubuntu 9.04 as a guest:
- When in seamless integration mode, and the Ubuntu application bar (upper by default, with the clock and application menus) has the Expand checkbox unchecked in it, seamless mode is defective - windows cannot be dragged or opened since the display will only remember the regions which were used when the seamless mode was initiated. I can provide a screenshot of this if necessary. The only solution for this is NOT to have both the Ubuntu toolbars with Expand unchecked.
Also, is there a way not to have those toolbars drawn in the host in seamless mode (through settings perhaps)?
- Probably nothing to do here, but Alt-tab won't incorporate the windows of both systems. When a linux window got the focus, alt-tab will be this of Ubuntu and not Window's. If this is impossible to join them together, perhaps a setting should be added where you can define the behavior you want (always windows' alt-tab, or changing between contexts).
