Description (last modified by )
It started when I first aborted the installation of VirtualBox 2.2.4 on my Windows XP PC and subsequently found that I was being prompted to install Netrwork device drivers every time I started the PC.
I installed VirtualBox 2.2.4 and continued to be prompted to install Netrwork device drivers. I checked the harware Device Manager and found the Unknown device under the Network adapters with the installed VirtualBox Host-Only Ethernet Adapters.
I tried to uninstall the Unknown devices (system wouldn't allow it) I tried to uninstall VirtualBox but the Unknown device was still there.
I installed VB 2.2.4 again was searching for a tool to manage the adapters. I went into the preferences menu and selected the network tab and started to instal another Host-Only adapter but aborted it and it created another Unknown device justlike the first. NOW I HAVE TWO!!!! Please tell me how to remove these. Thanks, Michael
