Guest display shrinks too much when not in fullscreen mode

Description

Since upgrading to VirtualBox 3.0.0, when I leave full screen mode, the guest display shrinks to 1400x1050. In previous versions it only shrunk a little bit, as I left the VirtualBox window maximised. My monitor's resolution is 1920x1200.
