I like the 3.0 menu UI at the bottom of the screen when a VM is in fullscreen mode, but I think it would be good to let users decide if they want to turn it off. Sometimes, it gets in the way when I'm in a Windows guest and I'm trying to maximize a window.
Also, it would be nice if you could disable the Mac OS X menubar in fullscreen. Currently, it only displays if you move your mouse to the top of the screen (it auto-hides,) but I would like the ability to disable it as well.
The work-around I have found is to disable mouse integration, which prevents either the new 3.0 menu or the Mac OS X menubar from appearing, but I like to leave mouse integration on because some things work better when it's on.

I use a MacBook 13" screen running Snow Leopard and utilize VirtualBox to run Windows XP Home edition. Is there a way to maximize the Windows screen in VirtualBox to fit the entire full screen? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, TC * * * * *

TC: Make sure you have the guest additions installed in your virtual machine. When your VM is not in full-screen mode, click on the Devices->Install Guest Additions... menu option. In a Windows XP guest, the installer should auto-run (if it doesn't, click on Start->My Computer->Your CD drive->VBoxWindowsAdditions.exe). Follow the on-screen instructions, click "Continue Anyways" on any dialog that appears, and reboot when instructed. Your VM should auto-resize to fill the screen when in full-screen mode.
On a different subject, I think this feature request has been implemented in 3.1.0, and therefore it may be closed.

It is possible to disable the menu bar in fullscreen by forcing VirtualBoxVM.app to run as an agent app. This has some side effects, but is a decent temporary fix. Line to add to Info.plist: <key>LSUIElement</key><string>1</string>
See my comment here for more info: https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=21676&p=305585#p305585
The bottom menu UI can be disable under Advanced in the Machine configuration.
I am also seeking something to disable the mac top menubar when in fullscreen I move to the top. Not using mouse integration is a bad choice, because the mouse moving isn't very fluid (and annoy me).
