Unresponsive right side of the desktop in a Windows 7 guest in fullscreen and seamless modes

The windows no longer maximize to half screen in the full screen/seamless mode of Windows 7 guest machine when the windows are pulled to the right side. This problem occurred only after upgrading to Virtualbox 3.0.4 (3.0.4 guest additions are installed), previous versions worked fine. The left, top and bottom side function also fine in all modes, and interestingly in the windowed mode the right side of the virtual desktop is properly detected, only fullscreen and seamless modes appear to be affected.

I forgot to add that the host is 32-bit Ubuntu 9.04 and the guest is also 32 bit windows 7 RC.
