Description
This mode is like fullscreen mode. In this mode, VBox will hide menu, status bar, and window decoration, and be maximized instead of full screen. So the panels (or task bar on MS Windows) of host OS are still visible on screen. I think it is very useful.
Thanks.

I use vbox in laptop with a 1024x768 screen. I need always switch focus between vbox and other applications in host. So I need windowed mode. I can use gnome windows panel in host to switch focus application. But the window decoration, menu, toolbar and status bar of vbox take a lot of space of my small screen. So if vbox can hide them, it will be perfect. Thanks.

You can hide the status bar and the menu of VBox, see the user manual. To hide the window decorations, tune your host window manager. For instance, this is quite easy with KDE.
I don't see much advantage here. Users that really like their screen real estate work with Full Screen anyway. Those users who have extra screen inches, work with windowed mode.
