Description
After upgrading Windows XP Pro SP2 host with Fedora 11 guest from Vbox v3.0.2 to v3.0.4, auto-resize ability broke. Attached ZIP file shows how the display looks fine until resize is attempted, then it "garbles". Display will return to normal if you can manage to resize it to exactly the same size it originally was.
Thinking it was the same issue as described in Ticket 4430, I applied v3.0.5 guest additions; this did not fix the problem, and Michael verified it is not the same issue and suggested opening a new Bugtracker for this.

This is just a thought, based on something I have observed on Linux hosts, but when you resize your window, can you try waiting a bit (a second or two) before releasing the mouse button without moving the mouse, to see if that makes a difference?

I just tried your suggestion, Michael; it still behaved the same way. I waited about 4 seconds before releasing the mouse button post-resize. Thank you.

This issue resolved itself when I upgraded to VB 3.0.6 r52128 and installed the guest additions that came with it.
