Description
Hi There, What are the chances of getting 3d support (either OpenGL or Direct3D) for Windows 98 within VirtualBox? It would be great to have an additions package for 95/98 that would add this. Thanks.

It's not a good choice. At least SUN could make just common SVGA driver for win 95/98 for nice resolution 1024x768 and 16bit of color. I have downloaded VirtualBox especially for win 95(for OLD win_95 and programs). But unfortunately VirtualBox can't provide it normally.

So what is the choice for good Win95/98/ME virtualisation/emulation? Connectix VirtualPC used to have DX support in 9x but MS seem to have broken that since they bought them out. VMWare is the same as VirtualBox for 9x support. What else is there that works?

Any suggestions? It would be amazing to dust off some of those old Windows 9x titles and run them with full 3d support without having to have dual boot AND a FAT partition. lol
