VirtualBox taskbar item flashing for no reason (or reason not apparent)

Description (last modified by )
The guest isn't doing anything, no CPU or disk activity on Windows XPsp3 or Ubuntu Guests with a Windows XPsp3 host but the actual window for that guest starts flashing in my taskbar, given enough time all of the running windows are flashing and it's just plain irritating :-p.
I open the window to expect some important message and nothing. I'm not sure what's causing it to flash or what it's altering my attention to but eventually it gets to me and I have to open it just to stop it.

The issue still occurs with VirtualBox 6.0.8r130520 on a Windows 10 host.
Both the guest window and the VirtualBox manager window are affected.
*apparent.
