Description (last modified by )
Random guru meditation appears when running eComStation 2.0 VM.
It happens also when system is idle, but starting FireFox 2.x/3.x causes it every time. On same VM, Opera5 works fine.
No ACPI psd installed. Using W4 kernel reduces number of meditations, SMP makes them more frequent.

Now the problem is gone: I reverted vbox to 2.2.4 and made a new VM. I modified ECS configuration to match required features.
Now I upgraded to 308 again and the VM is really stable. OS/2 locked a couple of times (probably not related to vbox), but no more guru meditations.
Comparing the two VM, here are the difference (before, now)
RAM 1201, 1024 VIDEoRAM 8, 10 AUDIO disabled, ich ac97 network NAT, bridge USB disabled, enabled
Now ecs is running with acpi driver, smp kernel, 1 processor enabled in vbox.

Please reopen if still relevant with a recent VirtualBox release.
It does not make difference installing OS/2 additions.
