No keyboard input for VDI via Sun Secure Global Desktop

Description
When my OSX users attach to my VDI server to get a desktop through SGD, the desktop is responsive to the mouse but completely unresponsive to the keyboard. The solution is fine using SGD on a PC or linux host.
