What kind of crash do you get? Do applications crash or does the VM crash (the log doesn't show a VM crash) ...

Frank:
The VM crashes but not without warning. A box opens telling one where to look for the log file and then offers an option to go to debug mode or close the VM.

In that case you attached the wrong log file, it should contain a Guru meditation.

Frank:
You'll have to excuse me; I've only been running VirtualBox 6 months. Can you tell what the name of the log file is and where it is located?
Thanks very much.
John.-

John, you grabbed the logfile from the correct position. However, I guess that you started the virtual machine after the Guru mediation occurred. Therefore the logfile was renamed to VBox.log.1 and the logfile of the new session got the name VBox.log. You should open the VBox logfile viewer (like you already did, Machine / Show Log ...) and attach each of these logfiles (up to 4) to this ticket. If none of these logfiles contains the error, please try to reproduce the crash and then immediately save the logfile.
On the other hand you write that your VM crashes every time so I'm a bit surprised that the logfile you attached does not include the crash information ...

Please reopen if still relevant with VBox 4.0.4.
VirtualBox log file as requested.
