Description
I installed FreeNAS 0.7 on VirtualBox 3.0.10.
And I setup iSCSI Target to let Host OS to use.
But I found a Bug that it will let Host OS I/O crash when I disabled attribute of "compress directories and files" to iSCSI disk, the transfer speed will up to 120MB/sec and wait a moment all GuestOS will show I/O error and Host OS will be waited for I/O then crash.
Then when I enabled attribute of "compress directories and files" to let transfer speed slowly about 1MB/sec, and system can be worked stable.
So I guess VirtualBox 3.0.10 cannot handle about 1Gbps transfer speed and let Host OS I/O carsh.
Please solve this BUG ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW, I want to try SMB to verify this defect. But SMB transfer speed only 2MB/sec whether disabled attribute of "compress directories and files" or not.

And Someone use Windows iscsi initial to use FreeNAS 0.7 iSCSI Target(another machine), they transfer speed can up to 57MB/sec and no crash, so I upload a defect to you. http://www.mobile01.com/topicdetail.php?f=494&t=1264786 (FYI)

I try Debian mount iSCSI from FreeNAS 0.7 and move a big file(over than 2GB), the transfer speed is 5MB/sec~7MB/sec, and no crash only shows "em0: watchdog timeout -- resetting"(Intel driver issue, but I cannot update driver in virtualbox.) in FreeNAS(Yes! When speed is slower than 10MB/sec, it cannot crash.) My network setting is Bridge mode.(This seems bridge mode bug http://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/5303)

Please reopen if still relevant with VBox 4.1.6.
Very premature conclusion. Why don't you attach a minidump (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315263)? Without one we can't help. Sounds more like a scsi initiator bug.
