Drag n' drop doesn't fully work when in seamless mode

I'm using dual monitors and tested this in both gnome/nautilus & xfce/thunar.

If Virtualbox in seamless mode is active on screen 1, the following doesn't work in the host:

• Drag n' drop FROM any application (except OpenOffice & Lotus Symphony) on screen 2 TO anything (desktop/application windows) on screen 1.
  
• Drag n' drop FROM any application (except OpenOffice & Lotus Symphony) on screen 1 TO desktop on screen 1.

All other drag n' drop actions works.
"Any application" would be Firefox, Eclipse, Nautilus, PCManfm, gedit, Filezilla, gFTP.
Please note that this doesn't involve the guest at all, just the host.

As forum user Sasquatch noted, there seems to be an overlay active. This is also supported by the fact that the guest windows xp taskbar is rendered on the bottom of the screen.

Host: Ubuntu Karmic (9.10) - Compiz NOT installed
Guest: Windows XP

I filed a similar bug #3072. Can't drag host icons around on host desktop of a guest is in seamless mode.
