Description
The Ubuntu realtime kernel allows for near hard-realtime support for the Ubuntu operating system; it is currently mainly used on PCs geared at producing audio and video.
As Ubuntu gains popularity in this field it is likely that more and more people will be running the Ubuntu realtime kernel.
For all of these people, it would be nice to use VirtualBox without having to
- figure out what's wrong
- install a generic kernel
- reboot into the generic kernel whenever virtualizing
Also, virtualization and hard realtime combined sounds promising.
Thank you very much for making this wonderful product cross platform and freely available, I really appreciate it and it is proving essential to my career as a web developer. I REALLY appreciate it!
