usbkey device can't work in VirtualBox-3.1.0-55467-Linux_x86.run because file "VBoxDD.so"

sorry for my pool english.
I have a usbkey device ,a Gentoo host installed VirtualBox-3.1.0-55467-Linux_x86.run and winxp guest, this device can attatch but can't work,
then I unpack virtualbox-3.1_3.1.0-55467_Debian_lenny_i386.deb and replace /opt/VirtualBox/VBoxDD.so with file "VBoxDD.so" that unpack from Debian_lenny_i386.deb; do a symlink /usr/lib/virtualbox to /opt/VirtualBox, this usbkey device work fine.
