Description
Machine: DELL Vostro 1510. T7250 2.00 GHz, 4 GB memory. I have a VDI file, with windowsXP (32 bits) SP3 updated, i have installed sql server 2005 and office ultimate 2007, all software are original and validated, they are hosted on ubuntu 9.10 (64 bits) updated. I have made a hard work on it, but every, maybe 15 seconds, the guest machine stop, mouse and keyboard do not respond, like as if thinking of something, for about 3 or 4 seconds, and then came back to work. When you look to the task manager, you can't see any process that maybe cause this problem. It's not a virus too. I have made a lot of tests in others linux, like slackware 13 (64 bits) and Fedora 12 (64 bits), with the same VDI file and the same version of virtualbox, and that never happens on this hosts. I see this problems since ubuntu 8.10, i think it may be some specific configuration in the kernel of ubuntu. I work with Microsoft's ERP, Dynamics Nav, and i need flexibility in my work, this problem of waiting processing, let me slow on my activities. Please attach a VBox.log file of such a session. And make sure to check the latest release (VBox 3.1.4).
