Description
A w2k box that used to work. Now box no longer starts.
Meanwhile a virtualbox upgrade might have happened, I am unsure as box is started only rarely.

2.1.4 is what comex with ubuntu 9.04 so it is probably widely used.
Anyway I took the risk of upgrading to 9.10 which upgraded virtualbox to 3.0.8_OSE.
No change in behaviour observed. If the system allows me I'll attach the new files after I submit this re-open.

Please check if a newer version fixes your problem. Version 2.1.4 is ancient.

Please reopen if you can reproduce this Guru Meditation with VBox 3.1.6. Attach a new VBox.log file in that case.
2.1.4 is an ancient release. I suggest you try to upgrade.
