Live Network Adapter Switch Doesn't Work

Description
I have two NICs on my host. When a VM is running and I go to the top menu of the VM and select Devices -> Network Adapaters .. and I select a different NIC (Name) and hit okay, the VM does -not- start using that NIC. It continues to use the same NIC that was applied when the VM started.
I believe this to be a bug. I know all about networking and everything and have confirmed the NIC doesn't change by doing a DHCP renew (ipconfig /renew) and still getting the same IP from the first NIC's subnet DHCP server. The two NICs are connected to different subnets thus if it worked it would have got an IP from the other subnet.
Host: Windows XP Guest: Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 (confirmed not working in both)
Please reopen if this is still an issue with VBox 3.2.6.
