Description
Summary: The VirtualBox 3.1.4 BETA 2 installer deletes ALL the shortcuts pinned to the taskbar during the uninstallation procedure on Windows 7.
Additional Info: During the installation I unticked an option to create an icon in quick launch bar but left an option to create the desktop shortcut. After the installation I pinned the shortcut created by installer from the desktop to the taskbar and then deleted that shortcut from the desktop. And then during the uninstallation the uninstaller deleted all of the shortcuts that were on the taskbar. I also checked the related to the taskbar folder and it was empty.
OS: Windows 7 x64 Rus
Path to the shortcuts being deleted: %UserProfile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar

No, I didn't upgrade. I did a clean installation.
Let me explain.
I installed VirtualBox and placed the shortcut to the Windows 7 taskbar. And during the uninstallation procedure all of my shortcuts (Steam, Google Chrome, etc.) were deleted from the taskbar, not only the shortcut of VBox. It appeared to me as if installer did this command:
del %UserProfile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar\*.*
So again - it didn't only deleted the shortcut of the VBox itself but also all other shortcuts that were in the taskbar.

Closing as requested. If you reproduce it once more, please reopen.
Well, if you uninstall the program it will of course delete all references. Or do you mean this happened when you upgraded? If so, from which version?
