VirtualBox Guest OS crashes no matter what

Description
Please help,
I am on Mac OS X 10.6.3 as the HOST OS. My guest OS is Windows VISTA. Everytime I try to boot, the Guest os/vm crashes and I am returned to the vbox vm selection menu. No error message or anything. PLEASE HELP, I have very important files on my vm

The log you attached looks like the VM was properly turned off by a guest request so it doesn't look like a crash.

thanks Frank. Problem is, everytime I try and boot, it does it's normal loading screen, then goes black, then closes, no errors, nothing, just closes. Any thoughts on what I should do? I obviously never wanted to turn the vm off while I was booting. Thanks.

Still no idea. Is that Vista guest a fresh installation or was this installation migrated from some other VMM? Looks like you installed it with VBox because this is a .vdi image. OTOH, were you at least once able to fully boot the guest? Perhaps with an older version of VBox?
Could this be a Windows BSOD with some auto-handling, e.g. shutting down the machine?
