Description
Linux host (Kubuntu 7.04)@1600x1200, Win XP guest 1280x1024. Switching to Seemless garbles the dekstop since VBox obviously doesn't get window dimensions right. Screenie here: http://www.vaultofsages.de/~dexterf/pub/seemless.png

I had exactly this problem with the host/guest combination in the original post.
My VM was configured with 8MB of VRAM. Upping this to 12 made the problem disappear.

You configured the VM with 8 MB or more of VRAM? (you should have received a warning if you didn't, but still)
