Description (last modified by )
Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 cannot be installed while VirtualBox is present. Further, after reinstalling VirtualBox, after successfully completing Kaspersky installation, "Event 41 - Kernel Power" errors keep crashing the computer. When I uninstall VirtualBox, this behavior stops.
Note: There are no virtual machines running when these crashes happen. It seems to be merely the presence of the software. #1778 is a similar issue, but under WinXP.
Processor: 2.83 MHz Intel Core 2 Quad Core with Virtualization OS: Windows 7 Professional (x64)

are you sure you're working with KAV 6 under Windows 7 64 bit? 6=six? KAV6 is old, outdated, discontinued by Kaspersky http://www.kaspersky.com/news?id=207575667

Clarification: When the "Event 41" error occurs, a reboot is required. No BSOD... just this horrible white noise from speakers, and a locked up screen.
