Description
I've installed VirtualBox 3.1.8 on Windows XP SP3, and am trying to create a new guest. No matter if the guest is Ubuntu or Oracle Enterprise Linux, 32-bit or 64-bit, the same thing happens: approximately 5-10 seconds after the guest launches (from the OS installation ISO), the host freezes completely, requiring a power cycle. No action on the guest causes this: it doesn't matter if I quickly hit the Enter key to start the Linux installer, or just wait without touching anything, 5-10 seconds later the host will freeze. It will never not freeze.
I tried fully uninstalling VirtualBox and reinstalling again.
My computer is a Dell Latitude D531 laptop, with AMD Turion 64 X2 CPU and 4 GB of RAM.
Log file is attached.

Thanks. I updated the BIOS to version A09, installed the new VirtualBox 3.2.0, and it worked.
