Turns out my Logitech G5 mouse was plugged into a i-rocks IR-4100 USB hub that caused the freezing. I changed out the USB hub with a Targus one, and it immediately fixed the problem after reboot. Thanks for great FREE virutalization software.

Well I take that back. I have eliminated all USB hubs, and it works for a little while longer than it used to, but it still freezes up.

This ticket is getting out of hand, I would close it and open another but I don't see how. So to continue:

When the W7x64 guest's network is set to bridged, it freezes when attempting to browse the network. When set to NAT, it works fine. I believe this to be the problem.

This is still true on the 3.2.2 r62298 release. The bridged mode only works with the airport. If I set bridged to either of the 10/100/1000 interfaces, the machine hangs shortly after any network activity. Reproducible every time.

Sorry, no idea. Are you still observing the same freezes with VBox 3.2.6?
