Virtual Machine is inaccessible - No error message
Reported by: | Hafthor Stefansson | Owned by: | |

Description
Shortly after upgrading to 3.2, I rebooted guest (Win7x86) and it stalled during reboot, so I closed the window to force it to shut down. Then rebooted my host (mac) and tried again. Now, that VM is marked 'Inaccessible'. Unregistered VM, built new one pointing to old vdi, let Win7's startup repair do its thing. Seems to be complaining about the disk integrity. Yikes. Will try to add more detail.

Hmm, but existing VMs are not changed when you upgrade. Or did you re-create the VMs?

Well, yes, I recreated the VM to recover from the 'Inaccessible' VM problem.

Since we don't know any more details I will close this ticket.
Got my vdi running again. Didn't notice newer versions default to SATA controllers instead of IDE for primary disks. Phew.
