Description
This started with 3.2.4
After accessing "Devices" > "USB Devices" once all the submenus ("CD/DVD Devices", "Floppy Devices") disappear.
See the attached error log starting with:

I have gotten the same error when trying to attach a USB micro sd reader. In addition to the symptoms mentioned, if I quit the VM session then VirtualBox show it as still running.

Could those experiencing these issues check whether they are related to specific USB devices and if so, attach the output of "lsusb -vv" for those devices?

And can you also attach or paste (depending on length) the output of "VBoxManage list usbhost" after the problem occurs?

I'm having the same issue running on Mac OSX, also like docwhat the VM session shows as running even after shutting down.

I believe that this is fixed in our source code. (This applies to Linux hosts only.) These test builds (disclaimer here) contain the potential fix:

It turned out that this was only fixed in one code path - please see ticket #7733 for the follow-up.

Small update, I downgraded to 3.2.2 and 3.2.0 and 3.1.8
The problem actually started at 3.2.0.
