Description
Ubuntu 10.04 Host with Windows XP SP2 Guest - CD/DVD Burning is extremely slow. 8 X DVD Burning now takes 40 - 60 minutes instead of 7 minutes or so. After updating to the last few newer versions of Virtual Box, I noticed that CD / DVD Burning within my Windows XP Guest was taking almost 1 hour at 8 X. Even when increasing the burning speed of my 24 X Pioneer DVD Burner it seems to have no effect. When I was using a version of Virtual Box two releases back it did not seem to have this problem. I have uninstalled and re-installed Virtual Box etc... this problem still remains burn time takes 1 hour at any speed setting.

Problem has been resolved after using synaptic package manager to apply complete removal of VirtualBox 3.02 and after installing the new 4.04 of VirtualBox problem no longer exists.
