Description
same problem as in the linux virtualbox 1.5.2 the mac os x version also cannot change the mac to anything starting with D (e.g. DEADBEEF0000). it doesnt allow you to type in the menu box. this seems to be slightly different since it DOES allow you to change on disk and load file.

cant since my images usually have nodelocked licensed software to make it easy to transport and they all check hardware ethernet ids.....

I have a XP VM running with a Mac address "DEADBEEF0000" on Windows Vista. VBox 3.0.10.
Is this bug still relevant for VBox 3.x for Mac OS X host?

Start MAC addresses with 00 and things should work :) Seriously, there is a small bug there as to which addresses are allowed and which not. It will be fixed in the next release.
