Heh. Is it reproducible? If yes, can we get your vm to investigation?

It is sometimes reproducible. The Windows guests lost their connection when downloading big amounts of stuff, while the connection of the host to the internet is still active. It happends on several downloads, so not only the windows update function is affected.
May be: There are also some problems with openSUSE 11.4 and the atk9 driver for TP-Link wireless cards, so a part of the problem may be located there, but anyway virtualbox should also handle the orchestration of the use of the internet connection.
A transfer of the virtualmachine seems not recommend to me.There is already visual Studio 2010 Ultimate(the most expensive one) and other software installed, so: No.

Can´t try from the location of my PC, and don´t want to do a hardwearing job.

Please reopen if still relevant with VBox 4.1.6.
Could you please describe how to reproduce, the issue? Which protocol have you used?
