Guest Additions [REGRESSION]: Control exec fails on RHEL4 => Fixed in SVN
Reported by: | Technologov | Owned by: | |
---|---|---|---|
Component: | guest additions | Version: | VirtualBox 4.0.4 |
Keywords: | Cc: | ||
Guest type: | Linux | Host type: | other |
Description
Host: Windows 7, x64, VBox 4.0.4 (and 4.0.0)
Guest: Linux - RHEL 4 (32+64bit)
When using guest execute, it fails on RHEL 4 guests, probably due to old kernel.
I did:
VBoxManage --nologo guestcontrol execute "RHEL 4 32-bit" "/bin/uname" --arguments "-a" --username foo --password bar --wait-for stdout
Regression: It did work with VBox 3.2.8.
