It seems 4.0.8 is buggy like 4.0.4.
I have a Fedora VM and Ubuntu VM. It all worked fine with Save/Resume. But I had freezez after installing 4.0.8.

A note:
Because the Ubuntu VM froze, I tried to shut it down by clicking the X button of the VM window (no UI feedback whatsover). It's interesting that it's indeed shutdown.
Last line of log: 00:00:40.751 Changing the VM state from 'DESTROYING' to 'TERMINATED'.
