Neo-layout keyboard in host is not supported, regression from Bug #2595?

Description
I am using Virtualbox 4.0.8 on Linux Debian Host (Debian SID) with a NEO2 Keyboard layout (see http://www.neo-layout.org). If I use this keyboard while starting Virtualbox, several keys don’t work: for example [CAPS]+[l] for “-” etc. If I overwrite VBoxKeyboard.so with the version of VBoxKeyboard.so attached to Bug #2595, everything works fine.

Is this still an issue? I just tried it with the latest VirtualBox 4.0 code and all keys I tried (including shift+l) worked fine. This was with the host set to Neo2 and the guest to US querty.
