Description
Six months - or possibly even longer - since the first report (http://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/350), capslock, numlock, and scroll-lock remain outside the realm of VirtualBox's capabilities - rendering it a novelty, not a true contender in the realm of virtual machines.
Surely, the Open Source Community can do better than this!? Let's get this silly bug quashed once and for al.

Can you confirm that the lock keys work if you are using VBoxSDL (I assume your host is Window)?
cd \program files\innotek virtualbox vboxsdl -vm <your vm name>

It is not that clear as you state here. The *lock keys work fine here so the statement remains outside of the realm of VirtualBox is not correct. And by the way, there was no further response to ticket #350.
Emulating of these keys is not that trivial as some might think because guest and host has to be synchronized. It seems that the keys work fine on Linux hosts but don't on at least some Windows host. We will look at this issue but I don't agree that this is a major issue.
