VBox 4.1.0 in Linux causes Win7 Excel problem

VBox 4.1 under Debian Squeeze causes latest Excel (or something) to endless loop under Win7 when doing a 30x200 pivot table. Happened 2x in a row, then downgraded to 4.0.10 and it works fine.
VB is assigned 2GB ram. The usb extension pack and guest additions were also up/downgraded.
