Use different icons for desktop shortcuts

Description

Inside the VirtualBox Manager GUI every VM has a different icon representing the installed Windows version of the VM. Creating a desktop icon from the VM for easy access will use the default VBox icon for any shortcut. It would be nice to have the same icons as inside the GUI for the desktop shortcuts to start the VMs. This would help even more on Windows 7 hosts, if the shortcuts are pinned to the taskbar.

Thanks in advance, Stefan

Please note that you always can change the icon of the shortcut yourself. Adding this would mean making all the OS images available in ico format for Windows, icns format for OS X and so on. Also it is not possible to assign different icons to the shortcuts on all OS's we support.

Sure I could change the icons myself, if I knew where to get the GUI images from.

Could you give me a hint?

Thanks in advance, Stefan

See here and search for the os_* files.
