Description (last modified by ) ¶
Hi i have an issue where virtualbox crashes on my Linux host running a win xp guest session. It happens while booting the win xp system, but only approx. 60% of the time. If the system acutally boots then it seems stable enough.
My Linux distro is Ubuntu 11.04 running on a Dell Latitude E4310. I recently upgraded from ubuntu 10.10 where this never happened. So maybe it has something to do with the Kernel version or the hardware. The laptop didn't work with the 10.10 distro without upgrading the kernel to version 2.6.38 manually.
When the crash happens ubuntu jumps out of X and presents the (i think) kernel log (see picture).
