A Windows XP VM (2D/3D disabled) running on Ubuntu oneiric (3.0.0-9-generic-pae) crashes during startup. The error is "Guru Meditation -228 (VERR_INTERNAL_ERROR_4)", logs attached. If you need anything else, please let me know

ack, exactly the same situation here. Vista Business started doing Guru Meditation on bootup right before switching to login screen after last 17 MS update batch.

Disabling VT-d and Nested Paging made the machine stable again. Reenabling it again seems to have no sideaffects as well. Note: The VM was running on the same host before, but on 64bit architecture. It's now on a 32bit system.
