Virtualbox 4.1.4 on Windows 7 64b. Virtualbox 4.1.4 guest additions. Dual Radeon HD 6450 on the Host system. I've run both with the Windows driver and now running the latest Catalyst driver.
I've tried multiple versions of Linux including Ubuntu and Mint, all with the same results. Attached is a log file from my latest install of Ubuntu 11.10.

It would appear this is the same issue as Issue #9799. I've read through that issue and the fix does not work for me either.
I created a new VM (Ubuntu 11.10), ran through the steps outlined here:
I've exported the VM and run it on a different PC with no errors. The problem seems to be with communication with the ATI hardware.

You might want to try the latest ISO image (as usual, test build, no production use etc.) on ticket #9799 and tell us whether that fixes your issue.
