Description (last modified by )
(OSX Lion / VBox 4.1.6)
The following repeatably crashes VBox for me:
- Create a new VM. I am using Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS x86_64 server from a multi-attach image
- Start the VM
- Open the Network settings dialog for that VM and keep it open
- Switch to the VM and shut it down (e.g. by sending Cmd-U if the VM has acpid running)
When the VM halts, VBox itself quits (although it does not crash the host OS)

Thanks for the report. Actually the fix requires some deeper code changes, therefore we will only fix this for the next major release. The current svn repository contains the fix already.
