Windows 8 Compatibility
VirtualBox Guest Additions older than 4.1.x may not properly work with Microsoft Windows 8. To run Windows 8 as a VirtualBox guest we recommend to use VirtualBox 4.1.16 or newer and to install the VirtualBox Guest Additions 4.1.16 or newer.
You can download VirtualBox from here. The VirtualBox Guest Additions are part of the VirtualBox package.
